Tuck Everlasting the Musical
Auditions April 18 & 19

Casting all roles for Tuck Everlasting, a family friendly musical. Audition dates are April 18 & 19 with callbacks on April 20 at 6:00 pm. Please sign up for an audition slot at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C48A4AD2EA5F5C07-tuck.  If you are unable to attend the audition times above, please email tuckeverlasting2021@gmail.com to set up an alternate audition in person or via Zoom. 

 

Auditions will consist of singing, dancing, and cold reads. There are featured roles for children and adults. See below for a cast breakdown. Show dates are July 30, 31 and August 1, 6, 7, 8

 

Prepare two songs in the style of the show. Please refer to the Do Not Sing List below, and provide accompaniment via CD or digital karaoke track. Wear comfortable clothes you can dance in. Please do not wear dresses, boots, or open toed shoes to the audition. Masks are required. Bring water for breaks between audition segments.

 

Resumes and headshots are appreciated, but not required.

Cast Breakdown

 

Winnie Foster - actress aged 8-14 to play 11, young girl whose adventurous      heart is held back by her mother’s rules until she goes out on her own

Mother - actress aged 25-45, Winnie’s strict but loving mother

 

Nana - actress aged 40-90, Winnie’s comedic and protective grandmother

 

Jesse Tuck - actor aged 14-21 to play 17, an immortal teenager with a heart even more adventurous than Winnie’s, and a spirit uncrushed

 

Miles Tuck - actor aged 18-30 to play mid-20s, a young face with an old heart, mature but still bothered by Jesse’s antics, carries a heavy weight

 

Mae Tuck- actress aged 25-50 to play mid 30s-early 40s, mother of Jesse and Miles, caring and strong, but plagued by the feeling of wasted, infinite time

 

Angus Tuck - actor aged 30-55 to play mid-30s to mid-40s, father of Jesse and Miles, gruff and sleeps through life but wishes to be the father he once was

 

Man in the Yellow Suit - actor aged 35-80 to play 50s or 60s, a spritely carnival barker with nefarious plans and a big personality

 

Constable Joe - actor aged 30-60 to play middle age, Treegap’s law and order, a comedic personality with a limited vocabulary

 

Hugo - actor aged 11-18 to play 14, Constable Joe’s comedic and intelligent sidekick, wants to become Deputy

Thomas - actor aged 6-9, featured dance and movement, no lines

Ensemble - all ages, Carnival Entertainers, onlookers, dance goers, the moving parts and soul of Treegap
