Wonderful Opening with the Wizard

Cast of the Wizard of Oz

We want to thank all of our patrons, volunteers, cast, and crew for our Wonderful opening of our permanent home at 5482 Manchester Hwy. The Wizard of Oz: Young Performers' Edition was the perfect way to open our new facility. The show was skillfully directed by 15 year old Jana Denning with music direction by 16 year old Dylan Womack and 17 year old Carter Cantrell! The Teen Thespian Society was co-producer with Warren Arts on this production which featured a large cast of performers from 6-18 in age. Additionally, Alyssa Freeze starred as Dorothy, Ethan Titterington as the Scarecrow, Kaden Hobbs as the Tin Man, and Nathan McCuller made his stage debut as the Cowardly Lion.

Patrons raved about the new facility. Located less than 20 minutes from exit 111 in Manchester, TN. Warren County and McMinnville have an exceptional new performance space that will welcome patrons from throughout the mid-state region. With platform raised seating, comfortable padded individual chairs, and a flexible configuration, the Warren Arts performance space can accommodate slightly over 200 patrons per performance. The current production is set up with a thrust stage that will likely be the standard configuration for most events. Additionally, a high quality sound system was installed by Eugene Lafever of E.L. Services.

Construction is complete on the theatrical space and continual upgrades to the lobby space, bathrooms, and backstage facilities will be ongoing. Part of the fun in attending Warren Arts productions over the next few years will be seeing the further development of what will become an art center dedicated to supporting all types of arts in the area.

A special thanks to Homeland Community Bank and Morrison Hardware for their support in opening this new facility!

We hope you will join us with the remainder of our first half season and our newly announced second half season!

Second Half Season: Gilligan's Island, Midsummer Nights' Dream, Frozen, Jr., and Sherlock Holmes: The Hound of the Baskerville
