at Park Theater

Shrek the Musical is coming to the Park Theater, November 13-16! Help us celebrate with a juried art exhibit inspired by the musical. We are looking for original work featuring ogres, fairytale characters of all sorts, swamps, dragons, etc. All mediums accepted.
Requirements-
2D art must be 9inch x 12inch. Portrait or Landscape. Pieces that are not this size will NOT be accepted.

3D art must be able to be displayed sitting on a table. 3D pieces that are larger will NOT be accepted.
Digital artwork is allowed, such as art created in Procreate or Photoshop. AI generated art is NOT allowed.
If a digital piece is selected the artist must provide a quality printed copy to be displayed in the show.
Submissions
To submit art please send a digital photo of the artwork along with the artist’s name and age to warrenartsart@gmail.com. This is a special email address for the contest, not the normal email.

One submission per person.
Submissions must be received by October 27, 2025.
Art will be judged based on creativity, artistic merit, and theme communication.
Artists will be notified via email by November 5, 2025 if their piece has been selected for the show and will be given options for drop off and pick up times.
Best of Show will be awarded in each of the following age groups:
Age 6 and under
Age 7-12
Age 13-17
Age 18 and above
Artist awarded Best of Show will receive a ribbon and 2 free tickets to Shrek the Musical.

A full length performance of Shrek the Musical (approximately 2.75 hours with one intermission) will be offered at Park Theater on November 13 at 9 am.

The seats will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Please click the link to reserve seats and remember to include all teachers, aides, bus drivers and parents who will be attending with the students.
